Day 1-2


Arrive in Frankfurt, Germany. Pick up your rental car. and head off to explore the magical city of Würzburg in Germany’s Bavaria region. Known for it’s elaborate Rococo architecture and ornamentation, Würzburg is the center of Fraconian wine country and home to numerous wineries, cellars, and bars.

Day 3


Head to Rothenburg to enjoy one night in this enchanting Medieval city. Overlooking the Tauber River, the walls and gates of the city have been virtually unchanged since the 17th Century. Known world-wide as Germany’s best preserved Medieval town, the city is perfect for walking around and enjoying the old-time scenery.

Day 4


Next make your way to Augsburg, one of Germany’s oldest cities, but make sure to take the time to enjoy the quaint villages of Feuchtwangen, Dinkelsbühl or Donauwörth on the way.

Day 5


Drive to Füssen, where you will visit Germany’s best-known castle, Neuschwanstein. Neuschwanstein Castle is known for its picturesque location on a hill above the village and it’s 19th-century Romanesque Revival design.

Day 6


Spend the day trekking through castles and all that Füssen has to offer, and marvel at the famous Cuckoo clocks. Be sure to visit beautiful villages close-by such as Oberammergau to see the façade painting called Luftlmalerei or Ettal to visit the Benedictine monastery.
